Privacy Policy

More Shortcuts is a browser extension that lets you save your own shortcuts (links and folders of links) for quick access from your toolbar. This policy explains what data the extension handles.

What data is stored

More Shortcuts stores only the information you choose to create inside the extension:

• The names and URLs of the shortcuts and folders you add
• Your selected color theme

This data is saved locally in your browser using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage API. If you are signed into Chrome, it syncs across your own devices through your Google account, the same way Chrome bookmarks do.

What we do not do

• We do not operate any server that receives, stores, or logs your data
• We do not collect personally identifiable information, browsing history, location, or any analytics
• We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any third party
• We do not use your data for advertising or any purpose unrelated to the extension's function

Site icons

To display an icon next to each saved shortcut, the extension uses Chrome's built-in favicon feature. This is handled locally by the browser and does not involve sending your data anywhere.

Your control over your data

You can edit or delete any shortcut, folder, or theme setting at any time directly within the extension. Removing the extension deletes its locally stored data from your browser; any data that had synced through your Google account can also be cleared from your Chrome sync settings.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page with a revised date above.
